Sales Consultant, Full Time Position (July 2021)

We are looking for a friendly, confident, self motivated person with tramping experience to join our small team. Your key focus will be selling a range of high end, technical clothing and equipment for tramping, travel and mountaineering.

You will also be ordering new stock, processing inwards goods for store and website, and organising product display and storage. This position does not become available very often and we are looking for someone who is willing to commit relatively long term. Because we are an independent store and the role is highly specialised you have the potential to earn significantly more than any other outdoor retail role.

The ideal candidate must have:
- Experience tramping in New Zealand and understanding of equipment required for NZ conditions (Please illustrate this briefly in your cover letter).
- Friendly and confident personality
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work one day of the weekend
