A lightweight, high-performance boot from LOWA - the Alpine SL GTX! Optimised in collaboration with the extreme mountaineer David Göttler, the boot now features PU scree protection that has been sprayed onto the tough synthetic material. Plus, the use of Vibram Litebase sole technology has significantly reduced the weight while maintaining a high level of performance.
In addition to the neoprene gaiter, the two-zone lacing system is an extremely practical feature that allows you to adjust the fit of the forefoot and upper portion of the boot separately. Another practical addition is the shock absorber at the heel, which cushions your every step and provides a high level of comfort. Last but certainly not least, the boot features a windproof and waterproof GORE-TEX lining for optimum weather protection. A great boot for the mountains - the LOWA Alpine SL GTX!

Synthetic & Microfiber Upper
Synthetic is robust and durable to extend the life of your boots. It's also open-pored for breathability while remaining water resistant. Fabric blend enables enable optimal heat and moisture management to keep you regulated in varying temperatures for optimal heat and moisture management so your feet stay dry all day long.
Gore-Tex® Lining
Allows for moisture and sweat to escape while preventing water from entering from the outside through a semi-permeable membrane that also provides optimal breathability.
LOWA Reptex
The flexible LOWA Reptex abrasion-resistant upper is injected with PU “scales” that mimic a reptile’s protective skin. This replaces a traditional heavy rubber rand and contributes to a lightweight boot still suitable for alpine use.
2 Zone Lacing
Separate lacing zones in the forefoot and ankle allow for the laces to be adjusted and tightened to preference. This provides comfortable ascents and descents that support the anatomy of foot.
Hard Carbon Winter Shank
Stiffness allows climbers to ascend with ease by keeping the boot flat whilst keeping the boot weight to a minimum to reduce fatigue.
Intricate Fit
The construction of the Alpine SL is close to ground and close to rock for precise terrain feel on uneven ground and small rock edges for advanced climbing. It also features a shock absorbing heel that allows for a cushioned heel area for maximum comfort and reduced stress.
100% EVA Midsole
Very lighweight and provides added cushioned comfort.
Vibram® Alp Trac SL Outsole
Offers traction in steep terrain so you can conquer difficult conditions with ease. This sole is resoleable and very stiff.
Crampon Compatible
Obtain better grip in icy conditions. Compatible with semi-automatic crampons.
